Red Russian Kale
This Brassica oleracea var. viridis cultivar is also called "ragged jack" and "sweet red." Its leaves are the most tender and mild of all varieties. They are flatter than those of other cultivars and have jagged edges. Because 'Red Russian' is so soft, it is often grown for baby greens.
